itsasunny.life is a memorial built by Sanaa's friends and family, for everyone who loved her. It exists so her story keeps being told, and so the people who knew her can keep adding to it.

How it works

Anyone can share a memory: a story, a voice note, a video. Every submission is read by Sanaa's family before it appears on the site. Audio and video are transcribed so every story is readable, searchable, and accessible.

Privacy and takedown

We don't track visitors. We don't run third-party scripts. We don't sell or share submissions. If you want a story, photo, or recording changed or removed, reach out to the family member who shared this site with you and they will handle it.

Built to last

The site is open source, the family controls the domain, and every submission is exported regularly so nothing is locked into any one service. This is meant to outlast all of us.
